We supply Mesutronic who is a well known German brand of Metal Detectors. We have many different models available suitable for a wide range of applications. With over 30 years of experience, they have vast experience in product detection and quality assurance. These machines are designed to detect foreign objects in products and provide high levels of security. Metal detectors come in different sizes and have contrasting features. We have previously supplied metal detectors to suit a wide range of applications such as meat, poultry, fish, cheese, dairy, vegetable and drinks production facilities. We have also previously supplied machines for detecting dried goods such as cereals, confectionary, cakes and seasonings.

The standard Mesutronic machine we stock is a stop and alarm model with a 500mm wide x 300mm high head. We find this machine suits 95%+ of our customers. We have supplied other models with larger/smaller heads as well as drop through machines.

Most metal detectors can find three groups of contaminates: 

• Non-ferrous metals: these aren’t magnetic but can be easily detected due to being a strong conductor. 

• Ferrous metals: these are a conductor and are magnetic too. 

• Stainless steel: this is more difficult to detect as it is sensitive to product/atmosphere temperature changes as well as salt content. We have vast experience with our Mesutronic machines and these are designed to detect small pieces of all metals including stainless steel.
