We are proud to offer our range of KOLBE mixer grinders. KOLBE is a well known German manufacturer with an excellent reputation throughout the industry for build quality, robustness and user friendliness. 



Their range of machines start with the MWK32 models which come with a 45 litre or 80 litre hopper. These machines are available in single phase electricity (optional) which makes them very popular amongst butcher shops and wholesale butchers. 


The MW52-120 machine is the next step up with the 52 head and comes with a 120 litre hopper. This machine comes with a 10HP main mincing motor as standard and a 1.5HP motor for the mixing paddles. This machine is rated at up to 1700kg per hour.


The above machines are designed for mincing fresh red meat, no colder than minus 2 degrees ideally. If you need to mince colder product then a machine with a 56 head and stronger motor would be the best option.  


The MW56-200 machine comes with a stronger 24HP mincing motor and a 200 litre hopper. 


We also supply the larger AWM52-240 and AWM56-240 machines which can be supplied with or without a tote bin hoist to order. 


For industrial meat production the MW56-330 is a very popular machine here in the UK. This machine is known for its robust design and comes with a built in tote bin hoist as standard. The machine comes with a 24HP main mincing motor and 2HP mixing motor as standard. The hopper capacity of 330 litre ensures high output figures can be comfortably reached plus the automatic nature of this machines take away the manual handling required of smaller machines. This machine is rated at up to 2750kg per hour (based on 3mm mince).

What is a Mixer Grinder?

Mixer Grinders are similar in design to meat mincers however the big difference is that mixer grinders have mixing paddles inside the hopper. These machines are designed to mix different cuts of meat with or without additional additives and flavourings. The product then comes out of the machine mixed and minced together. These machines are extremely popular with burger and sausage manufacturers as well as kebab and petfood production. It’s basically two machines put into one to make the job quicker and easier.
